Hey there cats and kittens. Contrary to the impression my long silence may have given, I am still kicking!!!
Unlike most of Europe and also most of the publishing industry, I did NOT take all of August as a long, delicious vacation. I only got to go to the beach ONCE.
But now it’s late summer verging on autumn. And with autumn comes my very first in-person reading in…a long time. How long? Long enough I don’t actually remember the last one I did. It may have been November 2019. It may have been earlier.
ANYWAY, THE DEETS:
If you’re in/around New York City, I’ll be at Black Spring Books on Saturday, October 2 @ 6:00 p.m., with Sean Gill, Raj Parameswaran, Zack Graham, and Alexa Punnamkuzhyil. Also, because we know how to have a good time, live music by Baby Chemist.
Theme is THE MACABRE! And you KNOW I will be dressing accordingly. And given what goes on in the pages of Base Notes, I will no doubt be reading accordingly as well.
Vaccinations are required! If you haven’t gotten one by now…I don’t know what to say. If you HAVE gotten one, put this on your calendar! It’s going to be fun.
Glad you're still out in the world!
